I don't normally pay anyone on here any mind. I mean seriously...

For once, it's not IJAG. Although that did make me laugh.

Is that British for "you guys just made me spit water"?

  7. Re: Seems my car has officially died...

No it's not. I had a nice drink and I got all distracted.

I was just wondering what has rubbed off and all. Anyhow, check around your computer.

CC, I heart my Mazda3. They last pretty long as long as you take care of them, too. I'd give the local Mazda dealer a whirl and see what they have in stock, too.

One of my best friends has an early 90s Miata with tons of miles on it. Still runs great.

The only things that have really rubbed off is bollocks and bloody hell. Oh, and don't get your knickers in a twist.

First, take your machine to a dealership and see if it's really dead. If not, consider fixing it and keep on keepin' on.

Hondas are always a good idea ... consider a 2- or 3-year-old Civic or Accord to save a lot of money. If nothing else, it lets someone else take the hit in depreciation value.

Hyundai's reputation has improved, but I'm a snob and need more that to change my outlook on them. Look at Honda, Toyota or Nissan. The older Mazdas, at the right price, wouldn't be a bad option, but beware the newer models for them. Too many Ford bits ... and its mechanical rep is absolute crap these days.

    Good luck.

Not any kind of an accent.

And I never misplace my drink. It just sneaks off when I'm not looking.
