    Real men pick and choose their battles with their wife. :)

    Every mook you see wearing a Titans jersey at the game will dig your wife just a little bit.

    Couldn't you just have a reasonable conversation with her? Explain that she has poor taste in clothing and inform her that in future she should refrain from making purchases of more than $10 without clearing it through you first.

    That is why I did not mention a specific time frame. I meant it would be an extended period in relation to the norm for him and his wife. :)

    Wear something under the jersey, then if you catch any flak whatsoever, the wife will probably get the hint and allow you to take it off.

    But yeah, you wear it.

    A few months ago my wife bought me a straw hat to wear on the golf course. My straw hat-golf phase ended around 2002, and I really don't care for them much anymore. But I wear the damn hat.
