The people who recommended the No Name are right on the money. Would also highlight Abe & Louie's if you're in the mood for a good steakhouse.

For quick bites to eat, gotta go to Anna's Taqueria. Several locations in the area. Or for something more fattening, go to Spike's Junkyard Dogs.

As for touristy stuff? A stroll through Fanueil Hall, definitely, and while you'll definitely peg yourself as a tourist, take a Duck Tour if it's not too cold. They do show you a sizable portion of the city.

Avoid Daisy Buchanan's like the plague.

Best advice on the thread so far. Daisy's fucking sucks.

I've made a few trips to Boston and I've gotten around to see a lot.

Try taking one of the Duck Tours. You drive around the city and see the highlights and then you finish with the vehicle going up/down the river. Awesome tour.

If you take the Duck Tour that starts near the Prudential Tower, try to get Paul from Revere as your tour guide. He's sarcastic, abrasive and damned hilarious. Pray there aren't any children on the boat, so he can really cut loose.
