The Brunswick News is seeking an energetic sports reporter to produce exciting, in-depth coverage of local high school and NAIA college athletics, as well as other local sports stories like the annual RSM Classic, a PGA Tour event. Brunswick and Glynn County, a seaside community in Coastal Georgia, is home to the 2015 state 5A football runner-up Glynn Academy, the two-time NAIA national champion golf team at College of Coastal Georgia and PGA Tour winners Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, Matt Kuchar and several others. A journalism degree or similar newspaper reporting experience is required. Experience designing pages with Adobe InDesign is preferred and photography experience is a plus.
