It's M. Lane. Get it right.

Back on topic...that this thread made it past two posts could be the upset of the year.

    Riot starts soon
The media room is out of Dr Pepper. Hell has frozen over in North Little Rock. On a side note, Diet Sunkist is delicious.

    Media count
Add one to media row. The Jackson, Miss., Clarion-Ledger did make it out.

    This will be updated.

Is Landers' salary really that high? That seems to be about double what it was just a few years ago.

I covered the Georgia women for two years and Andy Landers is a super, super guy, but it is time for someone to start asking a few tough questions about the state of that program.

No other sports at Georgia really matter as long as the football team is in the top 15 — which is why the whole Jeff Capel to UGA for $2 million a year is crazy — however Landers' teams have gotten progressively worse in the past five or six seasons.

And I would start a running Southern Conference tournament thread, but with 15 minutes before tipoff here at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, I'm the only one in the media room.

I'd bet that a decent number of those papers listed have a stringer there.

Sunkist and Dr Pepper are both bottled (canned?) by the Dr Pepper/Snapple Group along with RC Cola, 7-Up, Clamato, Hawaiian Punch and a host of other brands. That explains the connection.

Clamato sounds like some kind of STD.

    We talkin' 'bout practice!!

Seriously. What's the difference if Tennessee skips a practice? I'm sure there were days she made her team practice on days off this year.

    It's far from classless.

i think he meant the implied lesbian reference was classless.
    but that's just a guess.

    Well piss. My bad.

    Still wouldn't call it classless.

Honestly, I haven't been more bored in my life.
The tournament organizers are furious that Arkansas lost. They had been counting on them to win and it was a spectacular flameout against Ole Miss.
Half the media here have Arkansas connections. Now that the lady piggies are one and done, I expect most not to be back.
Tomorrow promises another spectacular day of suckitude.
