No, they won't, because there is a double standard!

    I despise manufactured news.

"Let's vote on something . . . and then write a story based on what we voted on."

Media Days, by their nature, are manufactured news. That's what makes them worthless.

Not discounting Tebow's excellence, but seriously, does he get full credit for Chris Leake's 2006 national championship? Seriously, wasn't Tebow put in situations where it was virtually impossible to fail as a true freshman?

And if winning is the ultimate barometer of college greatness, Tebow might have lost more games in one year (2007) than Matt Leinart did in his entire career, and Leinart did win two national titles, and came within 30 seconds of a third.

C'mon, micro. Tebow is God. Tebow walks on water. Tebow is a virgin.
Tebow is not only the greatest college QB of all-time he is the greatest football player ever on any level.
And he plays in the greatest conference in the history of the universe.

Matt Leinart is in the conversation for best college QB of all time.

Funny you say that. I'm actually pretty much anti-SEC. But in this case I think the championships and numbers are too hard to ignore.

Take what Tebow has already done, add what he does this year and he's got to be in the conversation for the best quarterback.

As for others on that list: Tommie Frazier, Danny Wuerffel and Sammy Baugh come to mind. Plus Tebow.

    Slurp that.

Where's your list of 40? Or even one.

For every serious post lauding the SEC's reputation---and there really aren't that many---you produce 10 posts mocking it.

You can't attack the record, of course, or the championships, or the players it sends to the NFL.

So your only recourse is to mock it with outlandish posts ("greatest conference in the history of the universe") that are meant to imply what every SEC fan believes but of course are completely exaggerated.

So just deal with it. Mocking the SEC is like mocking Jupiter's standing as the biggest planet. It's there. We can all see it. Move on.

I'm mocking the homerfanboiloosers like yourself who worship at the altar of the SEC, who drool every time they mention Tim Tebow, etc.

Dan Marino needs to be in this conversation.

Is "homerfanboiloosers" trademarked? If not, it should be.
