Seattle-area, Pacific NW stringer available

    Recently took a university position near Seattle after taking a buyout from what's left of the newspaper industry. Career includes full-time writing and editing for newspapers, magazines, wire services and online (including multimedia production), as well as news.

    Have covered MLB, NFL, NBA, major college sports, hundreds of prep games, and feature stories. Regular season, playoffs, Super Bowl, Rose Bowl - even the Hong Kong 7s rugby tournament (I'm also a former editor at Rugby magazine).

    With a little advance notice, also can cover events in Portland, Vancouver and other areas within driving distance.
