Nonetheless, he will be wildly cheered by the base for putting "the uppitys" "in their place."

And likely a few free riders as well.

Yeah, you can just tell that crowd was full of free riders. Just looked like that type.

Based on the reviews it appears that Romney visit to the NAACP yesterday was a rousing success because he did not pander was he usually does. He spoke about his plan and did not waver even though he knew that it would not play well in the room. I am definitely in the camp that believes that this was a strategic visit on part of Romney campaign.

Mitt has a plan? That would be front-page news itself.

That Mitt, he's a badass. He's not afraid to put the "uppitys" in their place.

    Romneymerica, Fuck Yeah!!

I don't think he did that at all. Instead of pandering to the colored folk, he offered an honest accounting of his plan.

Based on the metrics Obama really has not been a great President for black America.

Kinda cute how the righties keep rolling out this trope, like it's some big concern of theirs. LOL.

But you're going to vote for him anyway so there's nothing to worry about.

I am going to vote for Obama. I don't think that forfeits my right to look at his 4 years with a critical eye. That's the beauty of not being a democrat. It allows me to keep some intellectual honesty.
