Scottie Pippen did NOT beat up some midgets

    Horace Grant just slaughtered a midget billy goat and doesn't know why, to mix Chicago metaphors.

    Actually, the player the Bulls traded to get Pippen on draft day, Olden Polynice, turned out pretty good in his own right. A better NBA player than whom Polynice succeeded at UVa, Ralph Sampson.

    Pippen putting out a press release saying he didn't beat up some midgets reeks of Jeff Goldblum putting out a press release to say he does not, in fact, watch you poop.

    I'm just not buying it.
