    As soon as the crateloads of pardons come out on January 19 (hell, on Nov. 9), Scooter will be re-barred post-haste.

    Has President Bush commuted any other sentences since Scooter? Tough to tell from the DOJ website -- they don't list this information for any of the 7 years of GWB's administration.

    A noble gesture -- not that it matters much outside of symbolism, since ol' Scooter has his choice O' gigs from the plethora of right-wing think-tanks, lobbying firms, etc. So you're not going to see him lining up at a soup kitchen or ordering his clothes at Goodwill anytime soon.
