   I won't quibble with the latter part of your last sentence, but how does it breed lazy reporters? And I'm assuming you mean a source you don't name in the story, not a true anonymous source.

   hey chuck - what i meant to say was reporters should keep looking and digging until someone will attach a name. some reporters simply stop with an anonymous source and call it a day.
