I was reading the interview and the question was "We notice in the comments section, and have seen on threads on a message board called sportsjournalists.com, complaints that you are a poor writer. "

it never said that SportsJournalists.com mentioned the capitol 'c'.

just that there were complaints here that he was a poor writer.

I just reread the graf in question. He didn't exactly segue from one point to another. But hey, way to sign up for a new handle just to get in a semantic argument.

I was just pointing something out to you.

I just don't understand why some of you guys can never just say "oh,ok...guess i saw that wrong..."

    But, whatever....

His first sentence after the one you mentioned begins with "For example ..."

You're right, I'm wrong. Those two words denote a different topic entirely.

    Ok...fair enough.

But the question was "We notice in the comments section, and have seen on threads on a message board called sportsjournalists.com, complaints that you are a poor writer. "

Maybe the 'c' reference wasn't directed at SportsJournalists.com?

Since SportsJournalists.com wasn't the only thing referenced in the sentence?

Again, man...why so belligerent? I'm just pointing something out.

You must be a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis.

I don't think belligerent means what you think it means. Belligerent would be calling you an asshole, or something else combative. What we were having was a debate, or argument, if that words suits you better. And now we're not.

I love non-biased questions that don't in any way ramble or lead the responder in any one direction.

Why did he respond in all caps?

No shit. How anyone read all the way through that, I have no idea.

I don't read Scoop often, but when I see someone who types in all caps like that, I automatically assume they're stupid. Maybe it was the site that did it and not Scoop. Nevertheless, it looks like dog shit and it renders the whole thing impossible to read. Whether it was Scoop or the site itself, it's disappointing they didn't do it differently.
