    Just get that p-value under 0.05 with a one-tailed test and you're gold.

    You'd be amazed how many dissertation defenses I've attended (or how many journal submissions I've reviewed) in which the presenter/author simply reported the p-value spit put by SAS/SPSS/R with nary a thought.

    The duo who exposed the canvassing study conducted their own study and argues canvassing can change opinions on transgender rights. More interested in the methodological approach in using an online survey to pre-screen respondents who would be more open to listening to a canvasser. In a nutshell, you can change the minds of people who like to talk to strangers on their doorstep for half an hour.
