Why do I have a feeling this would not have been the punishment if they were talking about the football team?

 

Who BTW has an 8-1 season going.

 

This is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Really? The Weekend at Bernie's Dance? Do these people have real problems?

 

I love that the boys soccer team, the night it was suspended, went to a girls game and did the Bernie there. Oh, by the way, the opponent was the same school whose parent complaints were responsible for the Perry Hall team's suspension.

 

Another reminder that no greater idiots exist in the world than school administrators.

Administrator's decision-making procedure:

1) Sit in my office
2) Overreact when two angry parents from opposing call
3) Stand by my decision when 20 people I normally trust object to Step 2
4) Back down when 200 people and media (Most of whom I've never met) agree with the 20
5) Say our students have learned valuable lesson

Repeat stupidity as frequently as possible, as long as I don't have to leave my office
