    "Lucrative" is a bit much.

    There can still be plenty of issues surrounding the implementation of a program like that. One line in a press release about a tentative agreement doesn't provide a full understanding of the agreement to use the technology.

    Is it a workplace "rule". I'm assuming the GPS is put on the puss bus, and not a chip implanted in the employees' brain.

    Regardless of whether or not it was agreed too, aren't they just modifying their own equipment? Why do they need the employee's permission to do this?

    It's subject to negotiation because the company is introducing new technology that affects its employees' working conditions.
