    Even if it does, he wrote a strong statement of support for her in an email the other day.

    Regardless of his politics or lack of business acumen, he was a legitimately awful announcer anyway. Hopefully they don't bother to bring him back next season.

    He added nothing. To be fair, he is following in the footsteps of today's game announcers who think hashing out every tiny detail relentlessly is somehow informative. Some of the discussions between him and Kruk were dentist-chair painful.

    BTW, I did notice Kruk tossed in a quick comment recently about people "taking things with a grain of salt, even when we're in this booth." Not sure if that was a shot at Schilling's add-nothingness or his dumb tweet or corporate.
