Hey, I'm a UVa grad and I come by my feelings honestly through several trips to Byrd Stadium. And although I've softened on Gary Williams, Ralph Friedgen is a grade-A asshole.

He just seems incredibly arrogant to me. He was talking shit from the moment he walked through the door in College Park when he hadn't won a thing. Granted, I know that Al Groh is just as much of an arrogant asshole, but hey, he's my arrogant asshole.

Michigan. The sense of entitlement surrounding its football team permeates the program.

The Yankees. It also pains me when they win -- anything.

But I hate the Braves a lot more. Well, maybe. It depends. I root for plane crashes on their off days.

I had you pinned as a Kennesaw Mountain Landis-hater.

Definitely Notre Dame. Although as its talent level dwindles, it's not as much fun. Was once on an airplane coming back from Hawaii with my own personal version of hell: half Notre Dame fans who had played a football game there and half Kentucky fans who had played a basketball game there. And Bill Curry, who had done the game for TV, beat me out for the last first class upgrade. Also, I used to love to watch UC hoop lose when Huggins was there, especially year after year in the first round of the NCAAs!

I'd have to go with the Yankees. With the amount of money they spend on "superstar" players, they still fail on epic levels hence why I'm looking toward this next season.

I will shed no tears if the NHL loses a couple of joke Sun Belt franchises over the course of the economic crisis.
