We try to block that memory out of our heads. When forced, it is referred to as Jeremy's "Jimmy Gray" phase, with the appropriate dropped - heads, don't - look - you - in - the - eyes sheepishness it deserves.

Not one of Jeremy's finer moments, but if ANYONE deserved the treatment . . .

Thought ESPN should have put him in there when Dick passed.

Non-sequitor: The five-year anniversary of Dick Schaap's death is next month; hard to believe it's been so long. One of the people in this business I wish I would've had the chance to talk shop with.

Jeremy's got a long way to go to be as good as his dad, he should just keep that in mind. [/BobbyKnight]

No one could pull off wearing a 'do-rag like Ben Bentley could.

Does anyone remember the original panel to this show?
I know Gary Thorne was the host.

Sportswriters on TV, with a yet-unjaded Telander, mid-life crisis Jauss, and curmudgeonly Gleason was the best thing on the tube in the early '90s. RIP, Ben Bentley.
