They should put him in an electrical closet. I hear that helps.

The "3 or 4 this year" line reminds me of the Da Bears skits on SNL, where "Todd" would randonly have heart attacks.

    "That's a baker's dozen!"

Had a kid in youth baseball last fall who's 8 years old and has already had three concussions from falling off bikes, etc.

    Kid loves to play catcher.

I told his mom he's going to make it another couple of years playing the position, tops, then he's going to have learn to play a corner infield or outfield spot, because taking live-pitched foul balls off his noggin a couple times each game isn't going to help him. At all.

I'm thinking his injuries were a little more severe than a concussion.

Pete Reiser scoffs at this and all sports injury stories.

I had to shake my head when the announcer was saying, as they took him out on the stretcher, that it was all about prayer, then immediately followed up with his score - "89-and-a-half!! Maybe that'll send some healing love his way!!"

Yeah, buddy, that'll work. Lane Frost scored an 85 in his last ride. I don't know if he was aware of that, but I doubt it would've done him any good if he had known.

bullriders wearing helmets....how long before they start wearing skirts?

They might as well start riding cows......maybe then no one will get "hurt".
