They are both going the comic book movie route in the next few months.

Johannson is going to be in The Spirit, which is due out in December, along with Jaime King and Eva Mendes (a very nice trio to look at).

Reynolds will play the insane mercenary Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, due out next May. Sorry ladies. Deadpool is grotesquely disfigured and wears a mask 99 percent of the time. Still, I think he is a great fit for the Merc with a Mouth.

 

I expect them to start a thread on SportsJournalists.com when their six-year anniversary comes along.
