  1. The bedsniffing sugar daddy...er, moral compass... of movement conservatism has a few problems.

No pre-nup, $1.3 billion at stake. Yeah, I'd hit it.

Excellent reporting. Can't say I'm a fan of the gleefull writing approach, but I'm not surprised.

No Scaife fan, but why take such glee in someone's divorce?

Sounds like those two deserve to be raked hard over the tabloid coals.

And wifey shouldn't be surprised. From what the story said, she was Dickie's mistress for years while both were married to others.

What a pair of humps. War of the Roses, honey!

I have to admit I didn't know much about Scaife's personal life.

I now know why his millions had to have been inherited. Not a very bright guy.

You have to love the dignity and grace with which these well-heeled people carry themselves at all times....

    Gives new meaning to Schadenfreude.

" Income from the trusts of that estate (Mellon estate) yields roughly $45 million a year for Scaife, according to a filing by his wife. That's a gross disposable income of nearly $4 million a month, apparently just for having been born. As the lawyer of his soon-to-be-ex-wife noted, "These massive streams of income are attributable to no employment, business enterprise or other effort -- intellectual, physical, creative or ministerial -- past or present." "

    Zing.
