I disagree, Inks. There were some gems, like the Stewie/Underdog/Charlie Brown balloon, the first E-TRADE one with the toddler buying stock and spitting up, the Doritos homemade one with the giant rat tackling the guy waiting for the trap to spring, the Will Ferrell Bud Light, the Bud Light with the Dalmatian training the left-over horse for the next season...

Yes, there were clinkers. But the above made up for them.

I respectfully disagree, Bird. While those spots were good, they were good compared to the rest of this year's crop. None of them were gut-busting hilarious or, frankly, all that memorable compared to some of the ones mentioned previously on this thread.

Only Naomi Campbell can make the Thriller dance so sexy.

Loved Stewie, Underdog and Charlie Brown going for the Coke, too. But the best was Ben Roethlisberger going American Idol.

The best Super Bowl ads from tonight were:
    - the dalmation training the clysdale to the Rocky music
    - Stewie, Underdog and Charlie Brown going for the Coke
    - the E Trade baby
    - Ben Roethlisberger going for American Idol
    - Bud Light gives fire breath

second tier, just below those (very, very good, but not great)
    - the Life Water commercial (Naomi Campbell doing the Thriller dance)
    - the Garmin GPS with Napoleon reenactor
    - the Corolla commercial with the cannons
    - the Bud Light commercial in the singles bar (trying to talk with the accent)
    - Bud Light commercial that you can fly (and guy gets sucked into the jet)
    - the two Bridgestone Tire ads (just missing squirrel and just missing Richard Simmons)

    Everything else was just ok.

    Bud was good.

Did anyone see the preview for "Leatherheads"?

Son of a bitch, that looks funny.

The suck one was the worst of the Bud/Bud Light ads.
Will Ferrell is one of the unfunniest comedians alive.

That does look pretty good. The full length trailer for it I saw in the movie theater last week looked even better.

I don't think I saw three commercials all night. If anyone has youtube links of any of the winners, please post them here.

My favorite (of the ones I saw) was the phone one with Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley. Loved it.

The Budweiser commercial was hands down the winner.

The American Idol ad under fox promos is the Rothlisberger one.

the dalmation training the clysdale to the Rocky music (2nd quarter)
    - Stewie, Underdog and Charlie Brown going for the Coke (3rd & 4th quarter, same ad)
    - the E Trade baby (3rd and 4th quarter, two different ads)
    - Ben Roethlisberger going for American Idol (under Fox promos)
    - Bud Light gives fire breath (1st quarter)
    - the Bud Light "suck it" ad (4th quarter)
    - the two Bridgestone ads were pretty good (1st and 3rd quarters)
