Overly long, the plot is thinner than Hillary's chances, and there's more heart in the opening sequence of The Office than all 2 hours of Indy.

But most of all, it's just plain bizarre. I mean, seriously, aliens???

Tropic Thunder can't get here fast enough.

Right now, I'm thinking the next movie I see in theaters will be the new Star Trek movie.

    Is Short Round in it?

Since it takes place in the 50s, they flip him to a bad guy, and have him in a Manchurian Candidate-ish role as a Red Chinese agent out to covertly convince Indiana he's still a slave to Kali.

Or, perhaps they shouldn't, given that the above idea is uber-stupid, and Short Round was one of the most annoying second bananas ever put on celluloid.

The reviews coming out of Cannes were mostly positive. Meaning they didn't think it was total crap.

Should I show the first three to my kids before we go see this one?

    Seeing it tonight.

  12. There is an actual History Channel documentary about crystal skulls in rotation right now.
That makes me more nervous than this movie.
