So how come nobody has ripped into Colin for his latest bungle?

Because we are realizing how unlistenable ESPN Radio now is late mornings.

And afternoons. And evenings. And ... well, 24/7.

Well, I for one, hate to see Cowherd go. But, man, what a stupid/racist thing to say.

But they still employ Britt McHenry. They pay her 150 a year to ask two questions at halftime about what a team needs to do better plus the parking garage verbal assaults are free.

If Cowherd isn't going to FOX, they probably don't fire him. It's rare in my business to let someone finish s run with two weeks of shows because management is always worried the host will torch the place.

I think Deadspin, or maybe it was somebody in the other thread, pointed out that Cowherd never got in trouble for his idiotic stuff before and firing him with 6 or 7 shows left was just grandstanding.

When he came back after the news of his going to Fox got out, he was very nice to ESPN according to what I read. Apparently he was very well liked by ESPN. I can see why.
