Two raggies (longtime Nutmeggers will get that reference) break into a doctor's home, take a female hostage, force her to make a withdrawal from the bank and then kill the doctor's wife and two children, leave him severely wounded and are busted driving his SUV away from the burning house. Apparently it wasn't enough to burgalarize the house, set it on fire and kill at least three people: The perps were also charged with sexual assault. Bail: $15 mil.

    Starman justice needed, ASAP.

CT has the death penalty. Death, death, death.

Why is there even bail offered in this case? ???

Don't usually see this sort of thing happening in Cheshire. Just awful.

Wow...one of the reader comments was "see if the suspects are organ donors, then promptly help them "donate" them."

    Brutal story.

This story is so horrible I can't even comprehend it...

Just wonderful: The perps were parolees with more than 20 prior arrests for burglary.

Frying those two would double the amount of executions in CT since it was reinstated in 1976. And Michael Ross, the serial killer/rapist, spent nearly 18 years on death row and refused most attempts to stay his execution before he was finally injected with the magic stuff in January 2005.

So in other words, the state won't have a chance to execute the raggies. They'll be Dahmered.

It's awful anywhere, obviously, but yeah, the dateline surprised me too.
