Saturday Down South seeks Alabama football columnist

    I am actively recruiting to hire at least 1 Alabama football columnist.

    This is a freelance position, but SDS writes about Alabama football daily, so you will have ample opportunity to showcase your talent and range.

    If you are interested and have experience covering Alabama, please email a resume and links to 4-5 writing samples about Alabama football. Ideally, the writing samples are columns or features that demonstrate Tide expertise, original thought, strong analysis and an engaging writing style.

    Yes it pays. I did plenty of work for SDS in the day. Chris Wright is a good man.
