    That's it. The nakedness, the humiliation. Nobody stuck up for him. I felt genuinely shitty for him, like an indescribable kind of sadness. None of that for the Raiders, though.

    I finally bought dark Crystal on DVD (10 bucks) a few weeks ago. watched it recently . . .still freaky in some ways. But diminished by the wife ripping it the whole time, noting just how derivative it is.

    I don't care . . . Jim henson was a frackin' genius.

    Oh, I agree, bigtime. How many thousands of childhoods did he have an effect on? He was one of the true musicmakers. He was awesome. He is missed.

    I recall reading some heated debate online about whether The Rainbow Connection was intended to be interpeted spiritually. There are questions about Henson's faith or lack thereof.
