Glav's my favorite pitcher. I'm cursing too, but not for the same reasons as you, I bet. :p

13 K's through 6.1 (has K'd everyone at least once) though Varitek just hit a HR to LCF. 1-0 BOS

Cuddyer ties it with HR of his own... pause a bit for the potential to be the 100,000th post.

    Damn 99,994.

And 99,999. Hey, this is fun!

  6. The Red Sox / Twins gets its own thread and the NBA game does not.

    I'm amused by that

When this thread was started Santana was on pace to break the all-time strikeout record. He finished with 13 K's in eight innings.

I rest my case ... huh? Oh, I just thought that was a figure of speech. Case closed.

  8. 13 k's wasn't even his career high. That would be 14

At least this has been a good game.

    Schilling: 8 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K - 91 pitches
    Santana: 8 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 13 K - 102 pitches
