    Seven strikeouts thru three innings.
    42 pitches.
0-0 with Twins coming to bat in bottom of the 3rd.

    What's your point?
I don't see any reference to Santana there.

Gee, I don't know what I was thinking -- that sports journalists might be interested to know Santana was on pace to match or surpass Wood/Clemens.

    Now 8 K thru 4 1/3

Just got Ortiz for the 2nd time, 1000th K of his career.
    Santana 8 K's through 4.

My point is everytime one of these threads gets started, it inevitably jinxes the pitcher. Why not wait until the seventh or eighth inning before throwing the black cat on the field?

He'd rather have plenty of space on the first page for the attention whores.

Its the kiss of death for Santana.

Manny goes deep next inning and the Twins defense unravels.

So let it be written - so let it be done!

Schilling looks almost as good and has needed 7 less pitches.

Someone needs to tell Johan we have this going on. Up to 11 through 5.
