I didn't see this on J-Jobs, but I know it's been advertised online and in print ...

I know a bit about this one ... it's a 6K circulation, six-day morning paper in a beautiful part of North Idaho. Not too many high schools -- just a couple main ones and a few outliers. Laying out a couple of pages each night is part of the gig.

PM me with additional questions and I'll try to help.

Used to work at one of their sister papers.

Beautiful area if you like skiing and outdoors stuff. Otherwise, pretty much strictly preps and don't be surprised if called upon to do some news stuff as well. One-person department. Definitely an entry-level gig, although you could do worse for a first job.

Owned by Hagadone Communications, so don't expect much in the way of salary and/or equipment.
