    1. You can play basketball all by yourself.
    2. You guys need to seriously look at yourselves. You're blaming me for not bringing in any stats when at the same time you guys cant bring any either. Thia is laughable.
Oh, and then you resort to "BASEBALL WINS AGAIN, HOTDOGS AND JOE MORGAN! YEAH! 50% DROP? FUCK THAT, THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE."

You didn't say "baseball was better than ever" on this thread. Im pretty sure you said it on the past baseball vs. basketball thread.
Secondly, I remember you saying all that stuff about baseball. But you've never actually stated that the sport is in trouble. 50% drop in ratings sine 95'? Come on now.
And don't give me this "But there are more channels now blah blah blah". Why did you guys go off when the NBA ratings came out?
    This is tooooooooooooo funny.

I would argue that Joe Morgan is an example of what is WRONG with baseball, actually.

Ok, Im gonna try to make this simple.

I didn't give any stats. You're right(BTE was the one that brought up the 50% decline in ratings since 95'). I gave some points, but not stats.

You can't "play" basketball all by yourself. You can practice it all by yourself. Just as you can practice throwing footballs, pitching or shooting a soccer ball all by yourself.

  7. Check out these numbers, Chuck.

Let me know if you still think kids don't play baseball.

Where do you throw or pitch to? The wall. Oh yeah that's a looooooot fun.
You're right, soccer can be played all by yourself. But it's a lot more fun to play basketball by yourself. There's more of a challenge(and Im a soccer guy).

Oh that's great. There are more playing baseball in Stuart, FL. That's it, end of discussion. Stuart, FL=USA ::) You guys are just as bad as me. You keep bringing this "well there are kids play baseball in MY area"
I didn't see any comparison to basketball either.

  12. I guess I should have expected this response.

Since you didn't bother to look at the numbers, which you asked for, by the way, here are a few:

    Babe Ruth League -- 1,000,000
    T-ball USA Association -- 2,200,000
