    No ice cream. She was 53 and I was 33. Apparently, there's something in the water in Rotan that keeps 'em spry long past the formative years.

    really? you have nothing to say about nothing -- and i mean absolutely nothing about sports history in the past -- and you come out on this?

    maybe you should be just a bit more amazed by something, anything resembling sports history, and it would be more believable.

    the post quoted above is laughable at best.

    Growing up in the '70s I had no clue who Slingin' Sammy was, that was the time of Chuck Foreman and Bob Griese, but my best buddy in 5th grade down the street was a Baugh, Sammy's great nephew, and one day my bud came back from Texas with a signed ball from Slingin' Sammy for me. I lost that ball but a great memory. Thanks Mr. Baugh.
