Salon on Final Four media

I enjoyed it. Nice look at the diverse cast of characters you get among the sports media. Maybe people who read Salon will quit viewing us as monolithic.

And Marlen Garcia came across as thoughtful and engaging, so that's a bonus. Hope it helps her land a good job somewhere.

 

The NCAA allows CBS, ESPN and some other large groups (national radio) to pick up all of their credentials at once and then distribute to the proper folks. However, as usual with those organizations (especially the monstrously tentacled ESPN) not everyone gets the memo. Pierce should have been pissed off at ESPN.
