Sad state of Gatehouse

Someone asked awhile back about Gatehouse. It seems to be failing badly. Sportswise, they shocked everybody by covering the Celtics-Detroit playoff series on the road, a great sign for a chain that didn't cover the Super Bowl. Then they turned around and decided not to staff the Celtics-Lakers Finals in LA. The Patriot Ledger is promoting the hell out of the series, with full-page, front-page wraparound stuff and they're not even there. Their longtime Celts writer is blogging from home. The Brockton and Framingham papers also have veteran Celtics writers going back to the 80's and beyond, and they're all sitting on their asses.
    Tough times.

Are they blogging from home, or from their mothers' basements?

    Had to.
