Reports: North Korea publicly executes defense chief - CNN.com

Apparently, Kim Jong Un has had the defense minister executed in front of a large crowd. This comes after a report earlier this week after a defector says he ordered his aunt poisoned after talking shit about Un executing her husband.

Jesus fucking christ. That's the first I've read about the AA execution. 14.5mm cannon. A ZPU-4 is a WWII era AA cannon with four barrels. Imagine what that would do to a body.

I heard that he has been executing about one top-level official a week.

    Talk about the Peter principle!

"Congrats, Chun-Le, you have been promoted to ministry official. Your swearing in and firing squad ceremony is scheduled for Thursday."

It's nice to see that Game of Thrones has real-world applications. Hope Kim Jong Un never gets ahold of dragons, though.
