Afterimage, of course, being a song they'll never perform live because it's a tribute to a friend of the band's who died.

Why is Rush on tour? Because it's on tour, roll the bones.

This thread echoes with the sound of salesmen.

If you choose to be a nerd, you still have made a choice.

Funny how people who wish to take shots know a lot of this minutia ...

I love Rush up until Permanent Waves. Then they just started sounding passionless to me. And that lyric in Roll the Bones is well deserving of derision

My bad, Sam. Guess I was too busy thinking of gnomes and 20-sided dice to remember the album title. :D

And I echo your thoughts about "Power Windows." Great album from start to finish, and that tour was the first Rush show I saw. After that, I was corrupted for life!

Why is Bon Scott's voice OK but not Geddy's?
Neither is going to be confused with Sam Cooke, but each fit what his band needed.
I can't imagine Working Man or Distant Early Warning with another singer now.

FWIW I was dragged to a Wierd Al show and it was suprsingly good. Great show, lots of fun and fantastic musicianship.
