Rush Limbaugh dead

Would have loved to have seen Hicks on Star Search back in the day competing against Sinbad (don't you hate ice cream headaches? Ice Cream is so goooood! Headaches...Bad) and then Hicks would come out with something like that and give Ed McMahon a stroke.
Hicks was a guy who routinely hit the "third rail" in his bits - he start off like your generic stand-up and then start slamming with language and visual imagery so dark and twisted it would blow you away.

 

G Gordon Shiddy's death just reminded me that El Flushbo is "still dead."

 

Rush Limbaugh may be dead, but may this thread live forever.

 

It is bump-worthy forever.

 

Scalia, Limbaugh, Ailes and now Liddy - the flyweights now presiding over the GOP truly pale in comparison (and I realize that "pale" is probably viewed as a compliment to these folks - but they've gone from a group of people who were highly effective at what they did to a group that can't order pizza.

 

The shows are still "Blah blah blah current event and Rush was right (cue audio clip from months/years ago)."

 

I also imagine there are huge blocks of stuff they either can't talk about or at least use Rush to "back it up" given what Trump did to conservatism.

Presidential sex and morality.
The greatness of Reagan, Bush...anyone other than Trump.
The war on drugs.
Raising the debt.
Being tough on Russia

That leaves immigration, and making fun of people of color.

Their problem is, they keep ordering from Comet Ping Pong Pizza expecting a resolution to the Hillary Clinton case.
