Does a non-shitty 2nd baseman get that ball?

Cano's range today has been absolutely horseshit.

But hey, Joe Girardi says he's a Gold Glove-caliber second baseman, so it must be true.

This game has been like a salve for my soul.

    Now finish it yourself, Cliff.

Ibanez's ball really wasn't hit hard at all. And with the bases loaded, he should have been playing back anyway. He can hit, but his defense especially his range really, really blows.

I think it's great that the Phillies Game 1 starter was acquired in a trade that would have collapsed any fantasy baseball league, while their Game 2 starter was bought halfway through the season, and yet everyone bitches about the Bankees acquisitions.

You're right. They should have just purchased their No. 1 and No. 2 starters with eleventybilliondollar offers.

And that Game 2 starter could have been had by any team in the league for $1 million.

A nice misty evening in the Bronx. New Yorkers are pissed off. The Phillies are winning.

That trade was steal in a lot of ways. No one was really looking at Lee going to Philly until the last minute. In reality, he made the team much better. Pedro is doing what you'd expect, six solid innings.
