    When you get a moment to gather your thoughts I'd love to hear your thoughts on how the President and Kimmel's comedy played in the room. It's so hard to tell about that part on TV.

    I thought Kimmel destroyed. I've seen quite a few of these and I thought he walked the line of "I'm going to rip you without seeming like an asshole" better than the others. It's a tough room. You're roasting the leader of the free world and being able to walk away after that and not seem like you offended everyone is quite the accomplishment.

    You have to remember that he has to make a lot of inside jokes that very few who aren't at the dinner are going to get.

    I'm sorry, but Colbert remains the gold standard for this event and will never be surpassed. And everyone who was there was pissed.
