I've got quite a few Tecmo Super Bowl hacks on my NES emulator - this year's NFL roster, last year's CFL rosters and a combination WLAF/USFL hack. The CFL version is particularly entertaining.

Ralph: [whispering] Lisa, what's the answer to number seven?
Lisa: [whispering] Sorry, Ralph. That would defeat the purpose of testing as a means of student evaluation.
Ralph: [pauses] My cat's name is Mittens

Just bought the game for my son's 13th birthday. He's already run the table on easy and is halfway through medium.

Little does he know, he's got Guitar Hero II awaiting him for Christmas/Hanukkah. Can't wait to break that open and grind out YYZ.

I also bought him X-Box 360, since no place on Planet Earth has Wiis (and they're being recalled, anyway). Any suggestion on games (no "M" rating)? They seem to be limited. Bought him Civil War, FIFA '07 and Call of Duty 3; he's more into the fantasy/war games than the sports games.

Tom Clancy Ghost Recon. It's rated 14, I believe.

Bird, I hope you've been practicing. YYZ on Medium made me want to cut my fingers off and bury them.

Hoping one of my hockey kids gets GH2 for Christmas.

Hilarious scene at state tournament last year.

Kids have got awesome video games hooked up in every other room, poker tournaments with nice tables and casino chips in half the others, moms have a nice food spread laid out in one room.

    Where are the kids?

Lined up in the hallway to play guitar hero, that's where.

Hate to break it to you, but Linus played second or short, and Snoopy also played second or short, depending on the situation. They combined for a great double-play starter on many occasions (seriously). We know Lucy and Violet are in the outfield, as is Frieda, and Sherman is at third. So who the hell DOES play first on that team? They're one F-ing player short.

Maybe that's why his team is always losing 57-0.

Good call on Guitar Hero. Excellent game.

Anyone here own a PSP? Best invention ever, that thing has got me through many slow nights.

Anyone know anything about that new Civil War game? Looks like it might be interesting if it's a strategy-type game, but I haven't been able to find much about it poking around the web. What genre does it fall under? Is it strategy? Role-playing? Real time strategy? First-person shooter (watch the fun when you reload your musket for 45 seconds at a time!)?
