    The way he strings out these announcements for majors, you'd think he was getting kickbacks from Vegas on all the futures bets the books (incredibly) still write for Tiger.

    I think his fear isn't his body, it's the possibility of an opening-round 77 (like Dubai two months ago, in perfect conditions) or worse. Then you're telling the entire world, not just the golf world, that you're done.

    If you're not playing because you're afraid your game will tell people you're done, you're already done.

    However, I don't think that's the case here at all.

    I doubt if Woods could walk 18 holes of that course for four days just as a spectator.
