This has raised some social media firestorms. This particular news station, like anyone else who picked it up, pounced on Mike Freeman's tweet on Sunday, which was not sourced in any way. Boselli nor his family released the information.
Every famous person I've seen that contracted the virus or tested positive, especially, the athletes, released it on their own or through their team -- which must have meant they had the athlete's blessing. Dolan was released through MSG. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson broke it on their own.
I'm wondering how this is different from the outrage whenever anyone outed someone with AIDS?
