    While specifics of the virus were not well known in the US at the time, the WHO had just declared it a global pandemic. (Justices Moon and Entwhistle dissented from the great beyond.)
    I agree that the total count of positive tests won't be an issue. But if any particular team has multiple positives at once, the NBA is particularly screwed. It's a game with five guys per side at one time and a total of 17 (expanded for these unusual circumstances) on an entire roster at one time. If any team has multiple starters out in the playoffs, you've got a legitimacy of competition issue. And if any particular superstars are out, you've got a prominence issue.
