    It's well past 4 p.m. Stall tactic/deflection by the defense lawyers because they have no clue, either. It says in the second graf the parents quit communicating with their attorney. Going to be hard to get a bond if you blow off an arraignment. Enjoy the food in jail. It's not delicious.

    I'd guess the US Marshals joining the chase might indicate the cops have reason to believe they've fled the state.

    Depending on traffic/time of day, Oxford is about 90-120 minutes from the state border, so if they bolted early afternoon, they could be quite a ways down the road.

    Canada's about an hour away to the east, but getting across the border could be a problem. They could go for miles and miles if they went north.

    I suppose a lot would depend on when an APB was issued. If they got out of the state, or up to some remote hideaway up north, they might be able to keep running for a while.
