Running racism in America thread

It’s cute how Italians, who were referred to as “olive skinned” at one point, like pretending they weren’t part of the minority here.

 

There was a story in a paper I used to work for where some PR moron said people like looking at farms but they really don’t like seeing farm workers.

I lost my shit reading it and went round and round with the reporter who tried to tell me I was reading too much into the comment. The publisher had to finally had to intervene and end the argument.

People like some faceless being doing the jobs they don’t want and it just gets done. They want it both ways. They hate immigrants because everyone hates the new guy but they want what they make.
