Paul said he's scaling back his campaign.

That pretty much means he's nearing Quit Romney Road.

Talked to several people at different precincts of the Washington caucuses, and they all said Obama was winning handily.

The Base is still not happy.
Heard on the radio that Paul may be suspending his campaign tomorrow.

With 75 percent in, it's 70-30 Obama in Nebraska.

    Go Cornhuskers!

He should get bonus delegates from the 2nd district (Omaha), but he's only up about 10 points in the first and third, which means a split. So that 70-30 majority may only mean an extra few delegates, instead of a landslide.

Clinton's argument that she loses caucuses because her turnout is suppressed by that process is interesting. She's the one that filed a lawsuit to close caucuses in Vegas -- i.e. suppressing the vote -- because the culinary endorsement didn't go her way.

She's also complaining that Obama's going to win because he spent more money. I must have missed the law that prevents the Clinton campaign from spending what it damned well pleases.

Yeah, and she could have spent lots more money on ads instead of, oh, I don't know, paying millions to Mark Penn?

    Just a thought.

Anywhoo, good news out of the NEB.

    Come on, Washington.
