I'm surprised that Springsteen's song did not receive an Oscar nomination.

Just happy to see In Bruges get nominated for something.

Oh, and the Peter Gabriel song at the end of Wall-E was bangin'.

"Waltz with Bashir" was very interesting, an animated documentary.

Glad to see Richard Jenkins got a nomination. I really liked "The Visitor." Neither "Frozen River" nor "Changeling" is playing near me, but they both come out on DVD before the Oscars.

I'm really surprised Bruce's song didn't get nominated.

Slumdog Millionaire was edited, mixed and scored as beautifully as I have seen.

The technique of "audio sweetening"-- brilliant in that film.

It should sweep those technical categories.

Everybody's going to want Heath Ledger, but what Robert Downey achieved in Tropic Thunder was astonishing.
We've seen the homicidal maniac before. Ledger did it better than most.
How many people have pulled off what Downey did?
