SEC Network Finebaum is a billion times toned down from when he was talk-radio only Finebaum, and especially the days when his show wasn't heard outside this state. It was truly bloodsport then. He lived for the opportunity to savage coaches and programs that showed the slightest bit of weakness.

I still chuckle at a pyramid scheme being the title sponsor for the coaches poll.

CFB in the state of Texas is hot garbage. The one team ranked is coming off a 5-7.

Good to see Texas got ranked again for being Texas

I hate preseason polls. Teams get a ranking for nothing more than their name and what happened last season. Teams who do well from the jump this season have to fight to overcome the meaningless polls to move up. Garbage.

Can USC '17 beat USC '16?

I understand you went for the laugh.
But at this point, I don't think so. Yet, look at the schedule. The Trojans will be favored in every game. They don't play Washington or Oregon. Toughest stretch is Sept. 23 at Cal, followed by Sept. 29 (Friday) at Washington State.
So, not as good a team, but a better record.
