    All they really need is a couple, and functionally, they could get away with not even having one since the tests which they have conducted are convincing evidence that they do have them. I can't see that though - I think they've get at least a few real weapons built and stored, and are working to make better ones.

    That first one . . . wasn't even a nice try. This one is a tad more subtle and actually stayed on topic for the better part of three pages.

    Well, at least that's on topic.

    [EDIT: From the hed I thought it was going to say that when the alert went out, traffic surged, presumably because solo fellas wanted to "feel alive" one last time. However – SPOILER! – the story is that traffic plunged when the alert went out, then surged when it was clear it was a false alarm. Still interesting, I guess, but not what I thought from the hed.]
