Hey Simon, what were the TV markets in last year's Super Bowl?

    Just stop.

I'm rarely a party to this lingering, pointless debate. Keep my posts out of it as it has nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

    Not the point.

The point is EVERY city has a chance in the NFL.

The Giants had the lowest payroll in the league last year, a small percentage behind the top-paid Patriots.

    But you know the point.

Even you don't believe your bullshit.

Really? The Lions have a shot?

The Cardinals, with two playoff berths in 35 seasons, always have a shot?

The Bengals, with one playoff berth in 18 (or so) seasons, always have a shot?

There were 11 teams with 12 wins or four or fewer wins this year. That's not very balanced for a salary cap league. Do you want to look up the NBA standings, too? See how balanced those are--and have been for years and years and years?

    VERY balanced.

Use whatever you like, but know you're using out of context, I didn't pick those teams based on market size. Didn't even enter my mind. Why the hell would it?

Other than some pointless, fictional SJ scoreboard you're trying to declare, I'm not sure why you're thinking about it either.

I like the Ravens a lot - 3-1 vs. the NFC East - I think Miami is getting ready to crash to reality after going 5-0 against non-playoff teams to close out the season.

    Never said you did.

    But the prediction stands out.

The thought of baseball teams averaging the 36th TV market size playing in the WS is basically rendered an impossibility. Solely because of the location of baseball's teams.

We'll see if Flacco's sphincter tightens in the tournament.

    Ravens vs. Giants.

    Giants 24, Ravens 19.
